Still had some leftover curries from Wednesday, so today was another combo with instant noodles:
Look how tasty it looked, it tasted even better AND because it was leftovers, only costed 30p in the pack of noodles!
My colleagues were beginning to give me strange looks when I was taking photos of all my lunches.
Dinner
I had no food at home, so I thought I'd try the local Chinese.
Being a take-away, the veggie options were predictably limited, your usual fare of parallels of meat items but with the meat replaced by mushrooms. There WAS something though that sounded rather amazing: fried aubergines in hot sauce. I thought "yum", but sadly they informed me that they didn't have any aubergine that day (maybe they never do).
So instead this mushroom chow mein had to do
Even with my new found food photography skills, I couldn't make it look nice, it was that minging, greasy and tasteless.
I could have done better myself, and I will, in a couple of weeks. Wow, that sounded almost as though I can look into the future, or am writing this blog retrospectively.
